‘Rehab’ was the first single from the late Amy Winehouse’s smash-hit second album Back to Black (2006). In addition to becoming a commercial success both in the UK and the US (the song was Amy’s only Billboard top-10 hit), ‘Rehab’ brought critical acclaim in the form of three Grammys and an Ivor Novello award.
The transcription of ‘Rehab’ isn’t a strict note-for-note reproduction of the bass part on the recording, it’s more of a composite arrangement that represents a balance of what’s on the record and what I’ve played on gigs - I’ve also included elements of the keyboard part during the introduction in case you’re required to play certain lines when you gig this song:
